David Lloyd Club Enfield Winter Championships

We are pleased to release the draw and further details for the Winter Championships at David Lloyd Club Enfield. Before we release the contact details of the other players, we need to ensure that you are happy for your mobile number and email address to be shared with all players in the Championships. MATCHES

Match format

All events will be two normal sets, championship tie-breaker third set if required. In all rounds except the Final, you must use sudden-death at Deuce where the returning player/pair choose which side to receive the serve.

Arranging Matches

You are responsible for arranging and booking courts for each of your matches with your opponent(s). All players must make every effort to find a mutually convenient date to play their matches. All matches must be played by the scheduled date - NO extensions will be permitted for any reasons.

If matches are not completed in time then the referees will spin a coin to decide who goes through. The referees reserve the right to award a tie if, after reasonable provable (email/text acceptable) efforts by one party, the other does not reciprocate communication, then this match may be awarded to the former.

Substitutions

None are permitted.

Reporting Results

Whilst in the future you will be able to enter your own results directly on the competitions.lta.org.uk website, we are asking you to please submit the final scores of matches to results@dlenfieldtennis.co.uk with the below information or use the online form here http://www.dlenfieldtennis.co.uk/results

Date Match Played Draw (e.g. Mens Singles, Mixed Doubles etc) Round No. Name of Winning Player/Pair and Score Name of Losing Player/Pair and Score Notes (whether match was “Not Played” or if there was a walkover or retirement etc)

Finals Day

The final matches in each draw will be held on the weekend of 26/27 February 2022. All players must be available on these dates without exception. The format for Finals day will be communicated nearer the time.

Other Notes

• All events are open not ratings banded.

• Players provide their own balls apart from finals day.

• Referee’s decision is Final.
