WINTER TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS 21/22

We are now inviting entries to the Club Winter Tennis Championships. Depending on interest we intend to run the following events:

SINGLES

• Ladies

• Ladies Vets(over 40)

• Mens

• Mens Vets (over 45)

DOUBLES

• Ladies

• Mens

• Mens Vets (over 55)

• Mixed

• 3 events maximum per person.

• There must be a minimum of 8 entrants/pairs per event for the event to run.

• Please enter via by RSVPing to the Event on this site

as soon as possible before the deadline of Sunday 21 November 2021 to avoid any disappointment. Players will not be accepted after this date.

• Your membership needs to be live (i.e. not frozen) at the time of entering or during the event.

• No entries will be accepted after the deadline of Sunday 21 November 2021

• Doubles; A player substitution is only permitted until the first round play by date.

• Finals day will be held on 19/20 February 2022. All players must be available on these dates without exception.

• The format for Finals day will be communicated nearer the time.

• All players must make every effort to find a mutually convenient date to play their matches.

• All matches must be played by the scheduled date - NO extensions will be permitted for any reasons.

• If matches are not completed in time then the referees will spin a coin to decide who goes through.

• All events are open not ratings banded.

• All events will be two normal sets, championship tie-breaker third set if required.

• The draws will be posted in the club and via email.

• Players provide their own balls apart from finals day.

• Please write your results on the board after completing your match.

• Referees decision is Final.
